
Todd Feltz Competitor Scholarship
This scholarship was made possible by significant contributions made by friends and family in honor of Todd Feltz who passed away on March 7, 2025.
The Todd Feltz Competitor Scholarship fund is intended to extend Todd’s legacy of competition, unwavering perseverance and his heart of gold. This scholarship program will lift up pediatric cancer fighters and survivors who deserve hope and a future. This scholarship fund will provide hope to fighters and survivors of pediatric cancer and encourage them to continue writing their own stories.

Qualifications
Applicants of the scholarship must:
Be a pediatric cancer survivor or fighter who was or is financially supported by Angels Among Us during their pediatric cancer journey.
Be high school seniors, high school graduates or are students planning to enroll or are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.
Those who do not receive a scholarship are invited to reapply in the following years. If awarded, this will be a one-time gift. Previous recipients are not eligible to reapply.

Award Information
- If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $2,000 award.
- Up to ten (10) awards will be granted per year.
- Individual recipients may only receive up to one scholarship award from Angels Among Us.
Awards are determined by the following:
- Must have been financially supported by Angels Among Us or are currently being financially supported by Angels Among Us.
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school, work experience and/or community activities
- Statement of educational and career goals
- Personal impact statement describing how cancer affected the applicant’s life.
Selection of recipients is made by members of the Board of Directors of Angels Among Us and other determined committee members. Angels Among Us staff do not play a role in the selection of scholarship recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision as final.

Timeline
Application & Award Timeline:
- Applications open February 1 and are due by April 1 of each calendar year.
- Applicants will be notified by June 1 of each calendar year if awarded scholarship.
- Payment will be made in August of each calendar year, after class schedules and enrollment is confirmed, in writing, to Angels Among Us. Any remainder of funds will not be cashed out to the student but will be sent back to AAU, unless other prior arrangements are agreed upon.
Not all applicants to the program are guaranteed an award. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements if they have not yet received an award.
